Terms of service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms govern the use of this website and the services Hobobi provides. Every project is also covered by its own written proposal, which takes precedence where the two differ.
Quotes and scope
Prices shown on this site are starting points for the scope described. The binding figure is the one in your written proposal.
Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and in writing before it begins. We do not add charges mid-project without your approval.
Payment
Unless the proposal says otherwise, fifty percent is due before work starts and the remaining fifty percent on delivery, before the site goes live.
Monthly plans are billed at the start of each period and can be cancelled with thirty days notice.
Your responsibilities
You provide the content, images and access we need, and you review deliverables within a reasonable time. Projects delayed more than sixty days by missing materials may be re-quoted.
You confirm that any content you give us is yours to use, or that you hold the necessary licences.
Ownership
On final payment, all work produced for you transfers to you: design files, code, and the domain and hosting accounts registered in your name.
We keep the right to describe the project publicly and show it in our portfolio, unless the proposal says otherwise. White label work is always excluded from this.
Third-party components keep their own licences. Any premium plugin or font licence is listed in your proposal.
Revisions
Each package includes a set number of revision rounds. A round means one consolidated set of feedback. Additional rounds are quoted at the rate shown on the pricing page.
Maintenance
Every package includes one month of maintenance from launch. For websites this is optional afterwards and the site continues to work without it.
For automations and chatbots the monthly service covers the infrastructure the system runs on. If it lapses, the service stops.
Limits of liability
We build carefully and test before delivery, but no website is guaranteed to be free of errors or immune to attack. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the project.
We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data, or for failures of third-party services beyond our control.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. You pay for the work completed to that point and keep everything produced so far. Deposits cover work already performed and are non-refundable once the project has started.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction stated in your proposal. Where nothing is stated, disputes are resolved by good-faith negotiation first.
