The challenge
- The audience is institutional: government bodies, emergency services and partners, not consumers.
- The technology is unfamiliar, so the site had to teach before it could persuade.
- The mission is urgent but the tone had to stay measured and credible rather than alarmist.
What we did
- Structured the story as problem, then solution: the scale of wildfire damage first, the four-part response second.
- Named each capability plainly, from constant drone surveillance to live alerting and mobile response.
- Used data on annual wildfires and acreage lost to establish the scale without resorting to dramatic imagery.
