SmartHome Connect LLC
From a vague brief to a site that ranks, publishes and sells
A locally owned TV mounting and smart home security installer needed a site that explained six technical services to homeowners, ranked locally, and kept working long after launch.

The challenge
- The client knew his trade inside out but had no written material, no structured service descriptions and no photography to start from.
- Six distinct services, from TV mounting to network cameras to home theatre, each needed its own explanation without overwhelming the visitor.
- Home services is a local search business: if you do not rank in your metro area, you are invisible.
- One-off websites go stale. This one needed a reason for people to come back and a way to reach past customers.
What we did
- Ran the discovery ourselves, turning phone conversations into structured service pages written for homeowners rather than installers.
- Gave each of the six services its own page and its own search intent, instead of one crowded services list.
- Set up on-page SEO around local intent, and publish monthly blog articles that keep the site earning traffic.
- Built Mailchimp campaigns and a signup offer so past and prospective customers hear about equipment discounts.
- Kept a rotating promotional banner on the homepage so the client can run limited-time offers without calling us.
He took what vague information I gave him and turned it into a piece of art, and he did it all in a timely manner. Carlos will always have my business.
